Woman, you just wrote what I think about and live through everyday. I have had 2 knee replacements, 3 spinal fusion surgeries with 5 vertabra that are screwed together for life with titanium hardware. All of which, make me light up like a Christmas tree at the airport! It all sucks! I don't even know who this person is that I call myself anymore. I hear you when you say others live with things like this everyday...but me? Really? The college athlete? The triathlete? I am having a very, very difficult time accepting my physical limitations.

I am glad for you and others who have worked through these issues and are seemingly accepting reality. I hope to see you on the other side and learn to accept my new life.

Your old pal,

Rhea

My dad has had great success with spinal epidurals for back issues. I hope it helps! I'm still getting relief from the chiropractor..don't know how long that will last.
