Oh, my goodness, this is SO beautiful, Katrina. Your family knows NO strangers and that is such a gift that just keeps on giving. Those signature eyes that I notice within the women especially and it does feel like one long group (((hug)))❣️ This made my day to read. Thank you for going down memory lane and taking me with you. Here's to creating more and I sense there IS always enough room at the tables where you gather. Always. 💜

Thank you so much, Joanie. I feel like you'd love my family. I'm glad you got to "meet" them online. <3

I love seeing your family joy all around you. Makes me happy. I come from a conditional-love family and have been on the outside before. It is not pleasant. It is extremely painful to be told, you can't join us, you're not good/safe/right/acceptable because of this decision. My policy, with my children and their friends, is to welcome all comers, open doors, beds, arms. I'm happy that you have such lovingkindness around you. It matters. <3

I'm so sorry that you had a conditional love home, but I'm so happy that you made something different for your kids and your friends. Breaking that painful cycle is so important. That matters, too. <3

Thank you for sharing your family story, and the lovely photos too. You are lucky to have such love and generosity of spirit in your family. It is inspirational.

I love Bob and Sissy photos - dogs sense things we're not always aware of. My dog does too.
